Senior Counselor – Reunification and Therapeutic Family Time

Location: Wauregan, CT

United Services, Inc. Reunification and Therapeutic Family Time (RTFT) program is seeking a full-time Senior Counselor positions to join our dynamic team of professionals. The RTFT program provides support services to identified families to conduct Reunification Readiness Assessments, Reunification Services and Therapeutic Family Time services to DCF referred families throughout the 21 town service area of Northeast CT. Services are offered in the office and in community settings. The potential candidate will possess good time management skills, organizational skills, the ability to coordinate services for the families as well as a desire and commitment to work with children and families within the child welfare system. Supportive team environment. Flexible schedule may include some evening and weekend hours to meet the program/family’s needs. Training provided on program model. Position requires excellent assessment skills and ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds. Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree in relevant human services field.

Schedule: Full-time position is 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $18.93- $21.42 per hour depending on experience
